Kate tells us:

“Kate Edmondson bridal couture provides a bespoke service for brides.  We design and make to order service using luxury end fabrics. We also provide a wedding accessories range of headpieces.

Our service is bespoke so we can work with ideas you have or take inspiration from our existing pieces.

I started Kate Edmondson Bridal Couture 2 years ago after seeing a gap in the market for the fashion forward bride.  I developed a small range of dresses to test the market and quickly realised a demand for this end of the market.

I then started to develop a range of headpieces to compliment my dresses which has also has been a success.

We sell a range of bespoke dresses and accessories.  We have the pieces to inspire our clients who have the choice of choosing a design from our collection or having something made from their own ideas.  We provide a full bespoke service which includes the design concept leading on to full calico fittings of your dress, the selection of fabrics and trims right through to the finished piece.

I am inspired by the Hollywood glamour era.  Using fabrics and trims which compliment this period, I then put a modern twist onto my designs making them more fashionable while still retaining a classic feel.

I am also inspired by the fabrics I use and experiment on the stand using interesting draping techniques.

I have just completed a new range of headpieces which are vintage inspired. I have a veil which has a beautiful beaded lace edging, which is stunning.  I love this piece!!

So we have a new collection of veils which I have never before incorporated into my collection and which is modern with a traditional feel.
